About Our Dental Team in Independence, MO

With over 15 years of dedicated care at Dental Care Independence, Dr. Applegate has become a cornerstone of our community's dental health. Before joining our practice, Dr. Applegate received her BS from the University of Missouri-Columbia and completed her DMD at SIU. Her love for dentistry is matched only by her love for the people she serves. With a passion for preventive, cosmetic, and restorative treatments, Dr. Applegate also provides personalized sleep apnea solutions.

Outside of the office, Dr. Applegate enjoys photography, gardening, hiking, dancing, and volunteering. She believes that having a strong smile is not only crucial for overall health, but also for confidence and happiness. Dr. Applegate can’t wait to meet you!

Dr. Lee brings over two decades of dental expertise to Dental Care Independence. His dedication to restoring oral health and ensuring the well-being of our patients is what makes him such a beloved member of our team.

Dr. Lee's life outside the clinic is full with family, music, reading, travel, and fishing! He steps into our community with a commitment to provide unparalleled dental care, driven by the belief that a smile not only changes a day but can brighten the whole world. Dr. Ramazzotto is passionate about helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles while providing compassionate, personalized care. He believes every patient deserves to feel heard and valued, and he strives to make each visit a comfortable, positive experience.

He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Fordham University in Bronx, New York, before completing his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at Creighton University School of Dentistry in Omaha, Nebraska. He has also completed additional training through an after-hours clinic with the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) Oral Surgery residents, further expanding his clinical experience.

What Dr. Ramazzotto enjoys most about dentistry is that no two days are ever the same. He appreciates meeting people from all walks of life, continually learning new techniques, and having the opportunity to restore smiles while helping patients find relief from dental pain. His goal is for every patient to leave knowing that, while they're in his care, their dental health is his highest priority.

Outside of the office, Dr. Ramazzotto enjoys reading, running, exploring history, and cooking. He currently lives in downtown Kansas City and is excited to serve the Independence community with quality dental care and a patient-first approach.
